Nani

No - he's not blind - just a cat's version of red eye!  Nani is the cat we got from my ex-husband - didn't realize I would end up with my ex-husband in the house too!

Kirara

Kirara (pronounced Kilala - r's in Japan are pronounced like L's or D's or R.  Rice is said like "Lice", Sara (the name) is pronounced Sada, but Kuroru (another character in the Inuyasha anime is pronounced Ku - ro - ru - just like it's spelled. Kirara is Sango's demon cat companion in Inuyasha.  She is Liz's cat and sister to the other kitten, Tsukiko.

Mom & Li'L Bit Jr.
mom_bitsy.jpg

A Grandparents Day present to Mom Mom .... a male snowshow siamese kitten ... 10 weeks old.  He looked so much like our Li'l Bit, who passed away 17 years ago, that she named him Li'l Bit Jr.

Chris' & Liz's 3 newest members ... meet them separately in the link below ...

In order - Satsuki, Shiori and Salem Saberhagen ... say THAT 3 times fast!!!!

Meet them individually here

Patches

This is Patches - the oldest of the crew.  At 14, she's still going strong - although she now eats soft food and sometimes doesn't make it to the litter box ... but, that's what they make steam cleaners for!!!

Pinky Toe

Pinky Toe is so named because she has one pink toe while the rest are black.  I got her from a client when I ran my pet sitting business in Delaware.

Tsukiko

Tsukiko (pronounced Su-ki-ko - the "T" is silent) means moon child in Japanese.  She is Stasi's kitten.  She and her sister, Kirara, are 5 months old.  Can ya tell we are into a Japanese trend here?? And mostly an Inuyasha trend!  Tsukiko is not related to the anime in anyway.  Her name comes from a drawing Stasi drew and named the character Tsukiko.

Neko-Yasha

The next to youngest of our crew, Neko-Yasha, is 9 weeks old.  Neko, in Japanese, is cat.  Yasha comes from Inuyasha - Inu means dog in Japanese while Yasha means spirit or mythical being.  So her names mean cat spirit or mythical cat.
