Ok ... now you see why we need a bigger
house ... with 8 people and I lost track of the count of pets ... and more are coming soon ... we still have to fly Liz's
Pouncer back east, plus I promised to foster 2 cats for a lady and now that turned into fostering one cat and KEEPING the
other!!! Plus I promised the kids another hamster or two ... plus I'm getting a baby cockatiel when he is ready to go to a
forever home!!!
And, by the way, my house is VERY clean
... not pristine ... but clean!!!

I finally got my chinchilla ... granted I had to convince Stasi she was hers ...but I got
my wish!!! Meet Giz, a standard chinchilla. She is still getting used to us but she is a character.
To the bottom is Lilo and above is Stitch
Now these little girls are the pets I went to pick up when I ended up bringing home a pregnant GP.
Meet Lilo & Stitch ... a pair of Chilean Degus ... WHAT? You've never heard of a Degu? HAHAHA ... well neither
had I until Saturday (9/15) when I read an ad on Craigslist for a pair of Degus ... they look like large, fat gerbils with
rat tails. Check the link below to the Wikipedia site for more info on them ... they are in the same family as Chinchillas
and Guinea Pigs.
Ok ... so what is a Degu??
